Ever wonder how our RoseArt artists come up with such unique designs for the Color Blanks characters? Well, you don’t have to be a crafting guru to come up with a killer design! In addition to the markers and stickers that come inside every Color Blanks craft kit, search your house or workspace for simple yet common items that can transform your character. Here’s a list of the additional items we used to create our 100th day of school Cheerleader Color Blank!
- Cocktail straw or toothpick
- Construction paper
- Number and Letter scrapbooking stickers
- Cotton Balls
- Acrylic paints
- Modeling clay or putty
If you decide to paint your Color Blank like we did for our Cheerleader, we recommend detaching the head and painting your base coat first so that you’re sure to cover all the hard to reach places. Let your base coat dry and then paint in all the details. Next, apply clay, string, felt, stickers, glue, etc. to create hair, clothing and other accessories.
